[AlAhram] As government campaign against the Qatar-based station continues, Egyptian police say two Al-Jazeera ... an Arab news network headquartered in Qatar, notorious for carrying al-Qaeda press releases. The name means the Peninsula,as in the Arabian Peninsula. In recent years it has settled in to become slightly less biased than MSNBC, in about the same category as BBC or CBS... channel news hounds, not three, are locked away Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'! Qatar's Al Jazeera Channel said on Monday Egyptian security forces have arrested three of its journalists following Interior Ministry accusations of illegally broadcasting from a hotel suite. |

#2 In Egypt (and elsewhere,) Al-Jazeera is viewed as a facet of the Qatari government; Qatar's leadership were very strong sponsors of the Muslim Brotherhood. |
