A reasonable fear, given the sorry-ass state of academia these days. Not to discount what you are saying, but a quick look at the GTB yielded this: results for Israel

I've taken a few on-line courses at Coursera and they have been uniformly excellent. Of course, they have been in STEM topics (AI, linear algebra, social networks, data analysis, etc), none of which have an overt political agenda.

I just signed up, so I'll let you know how it works out.

#1  I just took a look: according to one of their tables, there are no terror attacks in Israel. Tells me all I need to know about this course.
