Tunisair confirms abduction of employee in Sebha |
2013-12-08 |
[Libya Herald] A Tunisair official was kidnapped by masked gunnies for two hours in Sebha on Friday, an airline front man has confirmed. A Sebha local council official had earlier denied reports of the kidnapping. Tunisair's Jalel Ourabi told the Libya Herald that the employee, the station chief, was kidnapped by unknown gunnies, while leaving Sebha International Airport. He was released two hours later. Ourabi gave no further explanation of the circumstances surrounding the seizure. The Tunisian Embassy in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... has told this newspaper that it will issue a statement on the abduction later today. Tunisair has three flights a week between Sebha and Tunis. |
