| Manchester (CT) School Board Member: I'm Leaving Democratic Party |

| [COURANT] Citing "philosophical differences" with Democratic party leadership, school board Secretary Neal Leon said Monday that he will not seek the nomination to continue in that position and will leave the party. The board is scheduled to meet Monday at 7 p.m. in Lincoln Center. Leon, who is serving a 2012-15 term, said he would be "switching to an Independent in the near future." |
