| Sikh pilgrims arrive in Pakistan |

| [The Hindu] Over 700 Sikh pilgrims arrived from India in Pakistain on Saturday to attend the three-day celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev's birth anniversary at Nankana Saheb in the Punjab province. News reports said the pilgrims were received at the Wagah border and strict security arrangements are in place for their stay. The pilgrims will also visit other religious places in Lahore. Earlier, a special train carrying them reached Wagah railway station in the afternoon. According to news reports, 8,000 Sikh pilgrims from India, England, Canada, Australia, Afghanistan and other countries will take part in the annual celebrations at Nankana Sahib. |
