![]() According to Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers, it happened around 8:20 p.m. at the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center at 307 Deshotel Lane in Lake Charles. Myers said Pastor Ronald J. Harris Sr. was shot "as he was preaching." |

#4 Woodrow Karey is an ex-deacon. When I googled this, I came across another church shooting in Lake Charles earlier on June 23, 2009. A pastor shot another pastor in a church. Allegedly, he was smoking crack with some others before the shooting. I'm thinking its the drinking water--(and the crack). |

#3 Maybe he was preaching hate? That would be a "Get out of Jail free" ticket. |

#2 "Karey was booked on a second-degree murder charge" He walks into the church with the shotgun in his hands (which is premeditation) and shoots the guy and is only charged with second degree murder? What's it take for first degree - badmouthing Bambi while he did it? >:-( |
