#8 I agree CrazyFool, I'm quibbling with the term sensible gun control They don't want anything sensible, they want to remove guns from the subjects. |

#5 You are under the mistaken assumption that they actually want to reduce gun crime/violence. That is not necessarily the case. In fact I believe it's quite the opposite. Who knows what sorts of 'Fast-&-Furious' like programs the DOJ is running within the Country. |

#4 I don't mean to say you get three gun crimes, I mean three strikes or one gun felony puts you in the clink for good. If we go after the actual criminals who use guns there should be less gun crime. The instable and insane are another issue. |

#3 Sensible gun control would update the three strikes rule to say if you use a gun to commit a felony you get locked away without parole (or worse). If you use a gun in self-defense or for sport or whatever you are left alone and bid good day by the government. Beyond that its all nonsense. |

#1 I'm glad I don't live in a Wild West, Tea party town like that. If only someone was brave enough to pass some gun control laws for those poor children, then all this would stop. |
