The pair arrived at Dover from the northern French port of Calais. They were held "on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism", the force said in a statement, adding that "the arrests relate to suspected terrorism overseas". "A quantity of ammunition has been seized," it said. Police carried out searches on an address in east London and on two cars. A police front man, when contacted by AFP, declined to give further details about where the men were accused of being involved in terrorism. | |

#7 Yes, the first radio news of this made, as usual, a reference to "British"; it's happening so often, I am starting to think that it's all code, alerting those who know. I can think of approximately 4 million "British" citizens who owe us no allegiance for the expense of our hospitality. |
