| Tunisia reporters rally to protect press freedom |

| [MAGHAREBIA] Workers at Tunisian radio network ERT are angry over partisan appointments to state-run media management posts and the government's alleged intrusion in their editorial line. Politicians, civil society figures and fellow journalists rallied Tuesday (September 3rd) in Tunis to support both the ERT employees and press freedom. "This is just the first protest," National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) chief Nejiba Hamrouni said amidst the crowd gathered outside the broadcast headquarters. |
