| #1 I quickly went to the self-licking Illinois State Police homepage to see if anything about this training was mentioned. Of course I found nothing related to the Anti-Mooslim article, but did find an interesting link entitled 'Urgent Notice to Law Enforcement and FOID Card Holders'. Appears the new Illinois concealed carry law has a rather interesting stipulation should you suffer a FOID card revocation. This form requires that you: .... list all fi rearms within your possession at the time of revocation, indicating they have been secured/transferred in accordance with 430 ILCS 65/9.5. If your FOID card was confiscated by the Court or Law Enforcement, provide documentation. I have no idea what 430 ILCS 65/9.5. is, but it would appear they have conveniently made a leap from registration of concealed carry to registration and ownership. One can only wonder if FOID program suspension or termination might fall under the same parameters as revocation. |
