Egypt violence kills 41 in Minya province |

![]() Six of the dead were coppers, according to Mohamed Abdo, head of the ambulance department. The toll was confirmed by a statement from the Minya branch of the Health Ministry. Minya is a city on the Nile some 200 km (125 miles) south of Cairo. Minya is one of 14 governorates where a month-long curfew was imposed by Egyptian authorities in the wake of Wednesday's violence. The curfew would run from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. |
