| Salon star Greenwald may have helped Snowden |

| This Wall Street Journal says Glen Greenwald was assisting Snowden before Snowden started at Boz Allen, and was not the innocent journalist who was just sitting around minding his own business when, blam!, a phone call and the rest is history. If true, Greenwald may be history. You can't charge Snowden with espionage without also charging Greenwald. Also, I had not realized that Greenwald was on the board of Wikileaks. From TFA: Before taking the job in Hawaii, Mr. Snowden was in contact with people who would later help arrange the publication of the material he purloined. Two of these individuals, filmmaker Laura Poitras and Guardian blogger Glenn Greenwald, were on the Board of the Freedom of the Press Foundation that, among other things, funds WikiLeaks. In January 2013, according to the Washington Post, Mr. Snowden requested that Ms. Poitras get an encryption key for Skype so that they could have a secure channel over which to communicate. In February, he made a similar request to Mr. Greenwald, providing him with a step-by-step video on how to set up encrypted communications. So, before Mr. Snowden proceeded with his NSA penetration in March 2013 through his Booz Allen Hamilton job, he had assistance, either wittingly or unwittingly, in arranging the secure channel of encrypted communications that he would use to facilitate the publication of classified communications intelligence. |

| #11 Greenwald works for Salon. Salon has NEVER earned a profit. Every year it's losses are more than double it's revenue. Last yr their gross receipts were in the 3.7 mil range and their debt was $118mil. Who is the SUGAR DADDY subsidizing Salon and by association reporters like Greenwald who are apparently engaged in espionage. The tree of this relationship set could get quite interesting |

| #9 I am still in shock and awe over the complete and thorough background check that was done on Snowie by the government that uncovered these links and associates. If they had been associate w/ the Right, however, this never would have happened. |

| #7 look at how they've handled Manning On a controlled access installation, utilizing a separate law, the UCMJ, which has numerous articles and provisions that don't apply to civilians. The military judge will never allow excursions into Constitutional issues. That is only addressed after all the military processes are done and the subsequent appeal arrives into civilian federal court. As a civie, the greater possibility is it would end up like the prosecution of Wen Ho Lee. |

| #4 I'll take the other side of that bet, Besoeker. Evidence: look at how they've handled Manning. They will be ruthless with Snowden and will do what they must to pry him from Putin - even if it means neutering the Magnitsky Act. Bigger carrots have been offered. Remember, JFK (quietly) pulled our missiles out of Turkey in order to get Khrushchev to withdraw missiles from Cuba. |

The last thing our Champ wants is a domestic parade of lawyers and testimony into breaches of the 4th Amendment and current cyber collection activities, Google, Verizon, White House, etc. Attacking a member of the leftist press [however treasonous] will not be coming soon either. Eddie Snowden is a virtual 'Benghazi crime scene' crying out for justice which will never come from this administration. Justice and an exercising of the 'rule of law' would end the noise and bring closure. Media noise is an excellent diversion and cover for action. Champ now writes the rules, as well as the law. So there you have it. |

| #1 Open and shut. Means, motive, opportunity: Greenwald aided and abetted a punk whose express desire was to steal and propagate sigint techniques and other intelligence info to our enemies. Note that, Wikileaks' founder is on record as saying they seek to undermine US national security wherever and whenever possible. Can't wait to see Snowden and Greenwald in the Florence, CO federal pen with the drug kingpins, white supremacists, Mafiosi and traitors like Hansen. |
