[Pak Daily Times] KARACHI: At least eight coppers were maimed during an encounter at Haji Mureed Goth within the precincts of Gulbahar cop shoppe on Thursday. As per detail, Gulbahar police conducted a targeted raid at a drug peddlers hideout, where criminals shot up the raiding party which resulted in wounding DSP Najamul Hassan, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Akram Butt and police constable, Nasir Abbas, Usman and Ramzan. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors termed their condition stable.
