NSA Whistleblower: Champ Took Down Petraeus with Surveillance Program

#13  More like incompetence. IIRC, they skipped over testing, user training, and any sort of redundant capacity in a big way. In the end, the usual new system problems, bit them on the ass. Hard.

That's the difference between being a simple programmer who can throw together a program with Visual Studio and a system/software engineer who understands these little nuances. Sometimes I think there should be a real Software Engineer 'certificate' much like an Electrical Engineer.

But I Digress. The John Roberts angle can be kind of scary. Nobody really expected him to take such path - a Tax???

#12  Probably just a coincidence.

#11  Plus: Didn't the Romney campaign's software system experience a malfunction on election day 2012?

Probably just a coincidence.

#10  Quote from Instapundit:
'A reader emails: “I’ve been wondering why nobody that I’ve read has connected this to Obama’s high tech campaign that won the election. Who could forget the picture of the crazy looking guy with the big hair, glasses and earrings who worked for Obama?”'

Plus: Didn't the Romney campaign's software system experience a malfunction on election day 2012?

Also John Roberts and Obamacare.

In a sane world all of the above would be paranoid drivel. But there's proof of capability and intent.

#9  General P lost all credibility if he changed anything regarding Bengazi to keep his affair quiet.

#8  I can assure you, labeling the collection of cellie "meta-data" as harmless and non-invasive is utter bullshi*.

#7  Leno's comment--very funny.
Obama adm. is going to launch a criminal investigation into the NSA leak. Aside from being the height of arrogance and hypocrisy, there is no mention of the shredding the U.S. Constitution and individual rights as a result of the vast surveillance of largely law-abiding citizens.

#6  We wanted a president who would listen to all the American people. Now we have one.

#5  "Unless the release was authorized, or at least wanted, by the Administration."

That would be a stupid move on the part of the admin.
The scandals go hand in hand.
"PRISM" is about capability.
"IRS" and "AP" are about intent.

#4  Releasing a TS document to a foreign press source would have very dire consequences

Unless the release was authorized, or at least wanted, by the Administration. To, perhaps, deflect attention away from more damaging scandals (IRS?, F&F?) onto something that clearly has Bush fingerprints in its history.

#3  Interesting to note, somebody at No Such Agency has a giant case of the arss, along with a giant set of nads. Releasing a TS document to a foreign press source would have very dire consequences if one is discovered.

#2  Why is this not surprising to see president 0 abusing his power and agencies to damage political foes, like the Chicago machine pol and thug he is? The last president to use the national security apparatus to go after political enemies like this was Nixon.

#1  This could get very nasty, but yet somehow also strangely compelling, iff Petraeus + Wife decide to divorce + Satellite Pics are involved.
