[Al Ahram] An Egyptian criminal court ordered on Wednesday the release pending trial of Mohamed Ayoub, who is being retried on charges of membership of a jihadist group and terrorism-related offences. Ayoub, who was a medical student at the time of the offences, was tried and convicted of the charges by a military court in the 1990s, and released after the January 25 revolution like many Islamist prisoners. After Morsi took power, Ayoub was relocked away I ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece! , to be retried in front of a civilian court. |
