Holder To Meet With Press On DoJ Journalism Guidelines...Off The Record
2013-05-30
[BREITBART] US Attorney General Eric Inaction Jackson Holder
... aka Mister Fast and Furious...
will reportedly meet this week with Washington bureau chiefs at major media outlets to brief them on how the Justice Department deals with journalists who work with leakers. Michael Calderone of Huffington Post reports, "It's not yet certain exactly when the meeting (or meetings) will take place, but a Justice Department official confirmed to The Huffington Post that it would be sometime over the next two days." Invitees will include Huffington Post Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim.

The discussion will be off the record.

Last Thursday, President B.O. stated that Holder would meet with journalists to explain the DOJ's standards for media, and said that Holder would "consult a diverse and representative group of media organizations." Off the record, of course.

The B.O. regime has met with news hounds off the record in recent weeks to brief them on the White House's positions on areas of controversy like Benghazi.
The NYT and AP, in a rare show of strength and solidarity, have refused to attend the meeting unless it is on the record. Good for them.
