2013-05-29 |
The Philippine Army said a young mother who was wounded after falling off a cliff while escaping a rebel bombing near their house in Compostela Valley province had died from her injuries. Ellen Sucnaan and her baby were vacationing at her motherÂ’s house in Mawab town when communist rebels detonated a landmine. Panicked and fearing an attack by New PeopleÂ’s Army, Sucnaan took her baby and fled behind the house, but they fell off of the cliff. Both mother and child were wounded, but now the woman has died. |
