Indictments Filed Against Six Palestinians Planning Kidnapping |

I quit! six wanted Paleostinians aged 18 - 33, including two from Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, and four from the Hebron area Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... . The men had split into two groups and planned to kidnap civilians and soldiers to use in bargaining for the release of Paleostinian prisoners. During interrogations, the men provided information regarding how to manufacture explosives and on at-the-ready explosives. Indictments were issued against cell members in the Judea Military Court. |
