Westboro Baptist Church To Picket Boston Funerals
2013-04-17
In a tweeting binge following the explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, the Westboro Baptist Church celebrated the carnage and announced its intention to picket the funerals of victims.

The tiny Topeka, Kan., fundamentalist group urged the U.S. government to "reinstate" the death penalty for homosexuality and warned "violence will fully consume u [sic]" if that doesn't happen. Most of the church's tweets said same-sex marriage caused the bombing, but others mentioned abortion and supposed mistreatment of the church.
Come on down to Beantown, a-holes, I'll be there with an axe handle or two...

#11  It's a little late in the day to ask this question, but here's a mental exercise I haven't been able to solve. Is there a way to disperse these folks without technically performing an 'assault'? I thought maybe spraying them with something horrible-smelling, or just dousing them with water or something, but those are assault, correct? Maybe some loud noise directed primarily at them?

#10  I see these people as proof we live in a orderly and lawful society as none of these people have been beaten to death yet.

#9  Yeah, could smell 'em being up wind, and its usually 30mph out thisaways.

IMNSHO, with their well documented connections to prominant democrats and background in law, they also double as a bogey for the liberals, keeping them chummed up with a straw man. Professional agitation for profit.

#7  Just wanted to remind SOME people that just because we live out here (Kansas, that is) with THEM, doesn't mean that WE (99.94% Kansans polled) are out THERE (insert punchline here)with them.

These a$$clowns should up in Garden City sometime back for a soldiers funeral. The feedlots and packing plants were calling complaining abut the smell........

#6  At least it wasn't called a church. Occupy uses the phelps' method - get into their personal space, agitate, video and prosecute counter-attacks. Meanwhile, another hate spewer chris matthews hides in his bunker of cameras, with a mime's level of makeup.

#5  "Fundamentalist"? Bullshit. They're Democrat stalking horses.

#4  I cordially suggest that the authorities look into these obvious "persons of interest", who clearly have a demonstrated interest in causing pain, anguish, and dismay. They ought to be brought in for questioning.

Preferably whenever there's a funeral in town.

#3  The tiny Topeka, Kan., fundamentalist group

Not "tiny" enough, in my opinion.

#2  These guys are a piece of work. Domestic Kimmies foaming at the mouth. This group works overtime to create an incident, and they depend upon (knowingly or unknowingly) their safety from the decency of those they attack. They are tickling the dragon's tail.
