According to DawnNews, a raid was carried out by the Rangers personnel in Laasi Goth where Naimatullah, a Taliban capo was apprehended. During the operation, Naimatullah and two Rangers personnel were maimed. The Taliban capo later departed this vale of tears during treatment.

Earlier, in another search operation in Sohrab Goth, 24 members of various banned organizations were apprehended by the Rangers. A cache of arms was also seized during the raid.
