Blasts in Ingushetia kill one, injure five |

One police officer was killed and five other security officers injured by landmines in the Russian republic of Ingushetia. The explosions were attributed to Islamist Three Russian service members were injured in the first attack about noon Tuesday in the Sunzhensky District, next-door to the republic of Chechnya. Another landmine blew up when officers arrived at the scene of the first blast, injuring three Interior Ministry officers. One of them, a deputy chief of Ingushetia's riot police, died later at the hospital. |
