#3 Likely just propaganda and most of these jokers will reanimate soon but it's nice to read... Wouldn't surprise me if it were true. It's said that amateurs talk tactics whereas professionals talk logistics. I'd say that professionals can talk logistics all they want, but now that it's impossible for modern armies to live off the land, it's the financiers that win wars. And there's no way that Pakistan's monetary support for the Taliban outweighs that billions that the US and India bring to the game. As long as Uncle Sam makes payroll for the Afghan government, the Taliban will slowly be whittled away. |
