Khaleda putting on an act by visiting temples
2013-03-17
[Bangla Daily Star] Opposition leader Khaleda Zia
Three-term PM of Bangla, widow of deceased dictator Ziaur Rahman, head of the Bangla Nationalist Party, an apparent magnet for corruption ...
is putting on an act by visiting temples to protect the Jamaat-BNP myrmidons involved in the recent countrywide violence and brutality, alleged Workers' Party of Bangladesh leaders at a rally yesterday.

Khaleda's act of donating money to people of violence-hit areas, after her party was involved in the destruction of temples around the country, is hypocrisy and people will not be alarmed by this pretence, they said.

The party organised the rally before the capital's Jatiya Press Club protesting against the violence, says a blurb.

"The country is witness to the countrywide planned acts of violence conducted by Jamaat-Shibir activists after Delwar Hossain Sayeedi
...Islamic orator and politician. He was a former Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Bangladesh from 1996 to 2008, and is one of the most prominent leaders of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami...
was sentenced to death," stated the party's Politburo Member Nurul Hossain.

Khaleda's party did not only support Jamaat-Shibir in their destructive activities but also took part in creating violence, which is an attempt to divide the country and deface the country's image in the international world, he said.
