#2 I agree. If I were in charge (heh) one of the many, many ways I'd cut the federal budget would be to bring home all ground forces from Europe. A transport air wing? Yeah okay, particularly if we can keep the hospital at Landstuhl. Naval basing rights? Sure, Naples is useful. But the infantry and armor? Home. |
