| #3 Reached out to the NYT because they'd already demonstrated they had no concerns about publishing classified information during time of war. BTW, this is a military court. IF the feds wanted to prosecute on related, not specific, charges under the Espionage Act et al in the civilian system, they can. He even LOOKS like a doofus. As was his immediate chain of command who saw he was having personal emotional problems yet let him continue to have access to classified material and systems. Their short term rationale that they were short handed in personnel got big paybacks in the consequences which (as usual) they did not include in their subjective calculation. |
