Gallup: Obama's Job Approval Drops 7 Points in 3 Days
2012-10-28
[CNS News] In the most precipitous decline it has seen in more than a year, President Barack Obama's job approval rating has dropped 7 points in three days, according to Gallup. In the three-day period ending on Oct. 23, says Gallup, 53 percent said they approved of the job Obama was doing and 42 percent said they did not.

#14  CHINA DAILY FORUM > [Xinhua] ASIAN AMERICANS COULD BE X-FACTOR IN US RACE [POTUS] FOR SWING STATES.

US States wid large or significant Asian populations - how these communities vote may also "drive/push" the electoral momentum in favor of a candidate.

#13  If that were true, Clinton would not have finished his term of office.

The meme paraded was 'sex', not lying to a grand jury.

Methinks in regarding Bengazhi, given the demographics of those slain, and the date it occurred, it's a bit more bipartisan.

#12  All that is bad enough but Americans hate being lied to.

If that were true, Clinton would not have finished his term of office. Conservatives hate being lied to. Liberals hate losing their freebies, union perks, mandatory racial preferences or any of the laundry list of Federal bennies the Dems have cobbled together to build a political coalition. Unfortunately, conservatives are a minority in this country.

I simply don't believe those 53%. And while the Benghazi fumble is bad, it can't account for 7% in just a few days.

#10   Zhang Fei, people are upset because in this case it sounds like we could have done something about it to save them and chose to placate Muslim popular opinion while disrespecting the 1st amendment.

All that is bad enough but Americans hate being lied to. We know politicians do it all the time, of course, but this one is so clearly political its nauseating.

#9  European Conservative, I'm not so sure. There are a lot of Americans who don't pay much attention until near the end of the race. Some of my family, Obama voters in 2008, thought he was doing a find job until the Benghazi mess was brought to their attention over the course of 3 weeks.

#8  OHIO! ?
Over the hill in October.... man that's old.

But yeah.... it's the real deal this year. Obama cash might win the state after all.

#7  If the Dow Jones Average goes to 12K in the next two weeks, Obama is toast. His favorables have risen and fallen with the market in the last year or so. The other stuff is just noise.

Most people view the Benghazi as the moral equivalent of Pago Pago - a remote place they'll never get to see and really couldn't care less about. Why would they be concerned about the death of an ambassador when 7K other Americans have died in similar hell-holes without much ceremony?

#6  Also the Libyan story is getting out and people are getting pissed about being lied to.

#5  What matters is OHIO, and now, with Sandy, Virginia. For whatever reason, Zero's numbers in Ohio have not (yet) fallen very much. Combined with cheating, he can certainly win Ohio, and barring collapse everywhere else, the election.

#4  Agreed with EC. Time to tighten up the numbers before reality hits.

#3  I don't believe this 7 point drop. Simply because I think it never was that high before.

#2  FREEREPUBLIC Artic is labeling it a "collapse"???

#1  Funny how realizing there *is* an alternative can open some minds.
