| #28 Read this, which I am paraphrasing: Hillary took the hit because it puts Champ in an untenable position. Either he asks for her resignation and pisses off Hillary's 2008 voters, or he doesn't ask for her resignation which means that Benghazi was OK. Either way it makes Champ look like a Schlappschwanz. Hillary knows this. She set him up the day before the debate. |

Bill Clinton has even gone so far as to seek legal advice about HillaryÂ’s liability in terms of cables and memos that might be subpoenaed by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which this week launched an investigation into the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. The committee will also examine the apparent Obama administration cover-up that followed the Benghazi attack. |

The first is: Obama wants to end all speculation about his role in the Libyan disaster, and Hillary believes that she can take the hit and keep on trucking due to her personal popularity. The second is more subtle: Obama is losing the female vote now Are they stupid enough to believe this dribble? Hilary is not all that popular--neither is Bill. I don't think Hilary or Bill are that altruistic as to sacrifice Hilary. Her chances of running in 2016 will be dead as Osama bin Laden. Bengahzi is a monumental screw-up--it won't go away. The buck stops with Obama. The second issue of losing the womens' vote is not going to endear him more to women. He basically threw Hilary under the bus so he could hide behind her skirts? That is not very admirable. |

| #20 What's contained in the article update is pretty much what's been discussed already by those "in the know": UPDATE: CNN has now released snippets of video from Clinton. In the video, she says she takes responsibility -- then promptly announces that security arrangements were made by "security professionals." In other words, she took responsibility, then blamed subordinates. Watch for the media to ignore that walkback on responsibility so that they can attempt to quash this scandal. |

| #13 Arm twisting before the next presidential debate ... YOU BET!!! Hillary lost the battle against the advisors who are coaching Pres Obama on his debate preparations. She's gone. You can bet that by doing this ... there's a back room deal. She is not in the next administration - but probably has a lead role at some place like the U.N. If Hillary really saw herself as responsible for Benghazi ... she would have said so immediately after the incident. |

| #12 Perhaps my calculus is too simple, but I think the Clinton brain trust figures that taking responsibility for the crime is more survivable than being tied to the cover up. Once she goes under oath in front of Issa, it may finally be time for Obama to taste the fumes of the undercarriage of the bus where many of his minions live. If last nights announcement came as a suprise to valarie jarret the cage match between Chicago thug politics and Arkansas Vince foster tactics has begun. |
