Turkish authorities forced an Armenian airliner to land at Erzurum Airport in the east of the country on Monday. A search of the aircraft is underway, according to Turkey's NTV television. The jet was on its way from Yerevan, the Armenian capital, to Aleppo with a cargo of humanitarian aid, CNN-Turk said, quoting Turkish Foreign Ministry sources. The Turkish government was told of the nature of the cargo but decided to search the plane anyway, CNN-Turk reported. |

#3 The UN doesn't grant those sort of rights. A viable Navy and an AF are your grantors in this case. |

#2 The vibes being thrown off by Turkish actions strike me like the Knight in the Indiana Jones movie "He chose poorly." Has the UN "granted" all countries the right to stop and search any plane or boat heading to Syria? |
