| #3 My take is more conspiratorial. The more the "countries" of the EU break up into regions, the easier for the total assertion of control by the EU. This goes along with the Northern Italians, Basque and Catalonian in Spain, Wales and Scotland etc. My guess is that within 20 years there will be only one sovereign in Europe, and it won't be a democratic one. |
