| #10 No doubt I'll get over the feeling. Why? I mean, you shouldn't even try to get over it. I've written off whole branches of my immediate and extended family. Mostly over politics. A leftist is a leftist is a leftist...period. They are the enemy. I can assure you, should we have that SHTF outcome, they'll come slithering around looking for handouts. | #8 lotp - it wasn't over politics, but I disowned my direct family 25 years ago. No birthdays, holidays or anything else with any of them from that time forward. I call it addition by subtraction. In that respect, you'll always have one man in spirit in your corner... |

| #7 Biden's a demagogue. He will be 100% emotional appeal wrapped in words that don't hold up to scrutiny ... but he won't care and neither will those he appeals to. Unfortunately I see this up close in parts of my family. I am so damned weary of this election season .... voting R&R, donating, working as I can, but weary to the bone. At this point there are large swathes of my immediate family I really don't care if I see often again. No doubt I'll get over the feeling. In a few months if R&R win. In a few decades if not. |

| #5 He's the foreign policy gravatas of the Obama team, but the foreign policy is in shambles. He was the sheriff of the stimulus and that was misused and mispent. Seems a big state was left out of the improved employment numbers so they are worse than stated and not something he'll want to talk about. And as linked by Procopius2k he can't really use the war on women angle since he has voted similar to Romney/Ryan. I've heard Joe's a good debater but even the best need something to work with. |
