| #2 The Muslim Brotherhood has long term plans to control Egypt and impose shari'a. They regularly peel off the impatient hard core and let them either self destruct or go join the active jihadi networks. I wouldn't be surprised if the MB encouraged them to gain some parliament seats precisely so as to undercut their influence while the MB looks like the moderate broad party to the West. |
