| NYC Prohibits Controversial Subway Ads In Wake Of Islamist's Vandalism |

| Just one day after an Islamic activist attempted to cover over private property in spray paint (and a woman who got in her way), the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York has announced they will amend their rules to prohibit the types of advertisements that offended her. The New York Times ...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... reports the MTA will prohibit any advertisements that it "reasonably foresees would imminently incite or provoke violence or other immediate breach of the peace." Those "viewpoint" ads that do not meet this criteria will be allowed, so long as a disclaimer is included saying the MTA does not endorse them. The MTA met on Thursday to discuss the rules, which were approved unanimously 8-0. |

| #7 But the organization that put those signs up make it their business to sue public transit that stiffles thier rights to freedom of speech. New York City will be sued. |

| #6 Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. How is this Islamist activists actions any different than those of other Islamists that have reacted violently whenever their "prophet" is offended? Regardless, this action on the part of MTA will never hold up in the courts and if it does this country might as well convert to sharia law now so I can go and claim my 4 wives while the picking is still good. Just disgraceful, really. Shame on you MTA! |
