| CJCS Dempsey officially asks Terry Jones to withdraw support for Anti-Islam film |

 AiPee so here's a brief synopsis:Today CJCS Dempsey called Pastor Terry Jones and asked him to withdraw his support and endorsement of the film 'Innocence of Muslims.' Dempsey fears the film could cause violence and increase tensions. Jones did not tell Dempsey whether he'd comply. Finland had a rational reason to act like a finlandized nation during the Cold War. What's the US' reason? |

| #6 Right. And, when DADT was repealed IIRC there were not any public resignations by any of these generals in protest. I remember being proud of my Commandant when he said that we will follow orders but no one could tell him how the repeal of DADT would enhance our war-fighting capabilities. Which, should've been the central argument the whole time. |

Little wonder men of the ranks have little use for most officers. Our Army and the nation is at low point because of them. Just my two cents worth. |

| #1 I call on General Dempsey to STAY in HIS LANE and take care of soldier business. Until martial law is declared, civilian law enforcement authorities can take care of the regular folks and preachers. If you don't have enuf to do general, I suggest you get with the US State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security and others, and dust off some USEMBASSY NEO (Noncombatant Evacuation Operation) plans. Might pay some big dividends in the coming weeks. |
