Najib Miqati with following up on the issue of providing security agencies with telecom data, after a recent attempt on MP Boutros Harb's life sparked fears of a return to political liquidations in the country.Under the settlement reached over the case of Sheikh Abdul Wahed, the cabinet approved a decision by State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr to expand the investigations into the deadly incident under the supervision of State Prosecutor Saeed Mirza who will have to brief the government on the proceedings.
"The cabinet has approved a plan to deploy the army on the northern border with Syria," al-Jadeed television reported.
