[An Nahar] A 30-year-old woman who was one of seven people tossed in the clinkYou have the right to remain silent... in Britannia on suspicion of terrorism offences has been released without charge, police said Sunday. The woman who was set to sit in solemn silence in a dull, dark dock, in a pestilential prison with a life-long lock You have the right to remain silent... by counter-terrorism officers in west London Thursday when five men were also tossed in the clink ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... was freed on Saturday. Six people remain in police custody, including a 22-year-old woman who was tossed in the clink You have the right to remain silent... early Saturday in Hackney, northeast London. All the suspects are being held "on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism", London's Metropolitan Police said. Officers investigating the suspected terror plot on Friday obtained warrants for further arrests that will expire next Thursday. Scotland Yard says the operation is not linked to the London 2012 Olympics which begin on July 27 but declined to elaborate. British media reported that the arrests related to a possible plot involving Islamist beturbanned goons with potential targets in Britannia. In a separate case, newspaper reports said Sunday that an Islamist terror suspect in Britannia charged with breaking restrictions on his movements had crossed through London's Olympic Park five times. Ahead of the Games, Britannia's security threat level is set at "substantial," meaning officials believe there is a strong possibility of a terror attack. |
