A joint operation of Afghan and coalition forces placed in durance vile the leader last month during a security operation in Kandahar district of Kandahar province.
Isaf said in a statement that this leader was an improvised bomb specialist. He led a cell of Death Eaters on multiple attacks against Afghan and coalition forces. Isaf did not give any other information as to his identity.
Isaf also said that an operation aimed at detaining a Taliban leader in the Rashidan district, Ghazni province, led to the capture of one suspected krazed killer, but not the leader being targeted. According to Isaf, the Taliban leader "controls more than 50 Death Eaters and has directed attacks against Afghan and coalition forces throughout Ghazni in recent months".
