[Dawn] Police on Saturday thwarted a sabotage bid with the help of people by defusing an improvised explosive devise planted near the Kohat Bus Stand.Unidentified persons had put a nine-kilogram bomb in a sack and placed it on roadside adjacent to Kohat Bus Stand. The residents of the area informed police about the sack lying on the roadside.
Police reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The officials of Bomb Disposal Squad were also called to defuse the bomb.
