| Bomb blast injures at least 20 in eastern Nigeria |

| A bomb explosion injured at least 20 people in the eastern Nigerian city of Jalingo on Monday, a day after two deadly attacks in other parts of the country. Ibrahim Farinloye, local head of the National Emergency Management Agency, said, "The blast was between the state ministry of finance and police headquarters." A witness said the bomb could have been targeting the police commissioner who drove past the spot shortly before. He said he saw dead bodies and that at least 20 people were taken to hospital. |
