About 10 people were maimed and some three dozen placed in durance vile, when police restored to baton charge to disperse a rally of Pakistain Paramedical Staff Association (PPSA) here on Thursday.As per details, the rally was on its way to Chief Minister House when police intercepted it on M A Jinnah Road near Services Hospital.
Police used tear gas and baton charge. Protest leaders claimed that 10 protestors were maimed and about 50 were placed in durance vile.
The PPSA and Sindh Doctors Tahreek (SDT) have announced boycotting hospitals in the province to condemn the police action on Friday.
