Hamas mulls joining Muslim Brotherhood | |

(Ma'an) -- Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, leaders are holding meetings in Sudan to discuss joining the Moslem Brüderbund, the London-based Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported Saturday.
Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh ...became Prime Minister after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank... met Moslem Brüderbund chairman Muhammad Badie on Dec. 26 during his visit to Cairo. A Hamas delegation, including Haniyeh and Hamas chief Khalid Mashaal, is in Khartoum and met Sudanese President Omar Bashir on Thursday. In October, a Moslem Brüderbund delegation visited the Gazoo Strip for the first time.
