Is Friedman right? Do he and his friends on the Israel-bashing Left own the future? Are their efforts to convince young Americans to reject Israel working?

#4 Friedman used to have some cool things to say. Now he has just lost his mind. Move to China already, Tom. |

#2 "Also, Israeli academics caught proselytizing for the Left in their classrooms instead of teaching the subject (somebody made it a research project!), given a few months to shape up or have the entire department shut down)." Can't we do something so completely rational here in the U.S.? Love it! |

#1 FTA: As he put it, “The real test is what would happen if Bibi tried to speak at, let’s say, the University of Wisconsin. My guess is that many students would boycott him and many Jewish students would stay away.” Embedded in this statement are two key points. First, Friedman assesses that the prevailing view on US college campuses are his own radical views. And he is convinced that college students share his views. A third embedded key point: Friedman seems to think that the prevailing view on the U. Wisc. campus matters to the US as a whole. |
