BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A leader in the pro-government Al-Sahwa (Awakening) Forces, his mother and two cops were killed today, in addition to seven cops being wounded in two spontaneous explosions north of Baghdad, security sources said today.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that a bomb was directed to the residence of Sahwa leader Nadhim Kareem Mohammed which led to his killing with his mother. The other bomb exploded with the arrival of police forces to the site of the crime that led to killing two and wounding seven more. |
