The trajectory of the current US-Russia acrimony and Putin's success in weathering the furious American onslaught on his political ambitions are of the highest importance to China. If the eagle has actually ended up in a trap it thought it had set up for the bear, that becomes a matter of joy for the dragon.

#5  JM hello. Day by day I see more stress in China. As in Russia the people want more out of life. Check this video out and some of the others they have. Those that govern are insulating themselves from those they govern. Like a caste system.

#2  Clinton should keep her mouth shut. Putin knew this election would be difficult for his party. It was projected before the election his party would lose a majority or close to 50%. That without any help from anyone. The Russian people are doing all of this themselves. China is tolerated. Iran is tolerated. Both can never be trusted. The Russian people want prosperity and hope. Putin wants to blame outside interference for his problems, not his own people."furious American onslaught on his political ambitions" China's wishful thinking. Russia suffered in Afganistan. We are pulling out of Iraq and Afganistan. The Russian people must see our efforts were not a threat to them now. They dress western, they enjoy western music, and they produce allot of their own modern music. Stalin feared his people would be contaminated by western ideas. They have and for the better.
