Arab Foreign Ministers Continue Dithering on Syria
2011-10-12
[An Nahar] Kuwait's foreign minister told news hounds Tuesday the Arab world's foreign ministers are to meet to discuss developments in Syria.

"There will be a meeting of Arab foreign ministers to study the events in Syria," Sheikh Mohammed al-Sabah told a news conference in Kuwait's capital, without specifying the date for the gathering.

"Consultations are under way to set a date," he said.

The ministers first met on September 13 in Cairo where they called on the Syrian authorities to "immediately stop the bloodshed."

#1  Fred I love that "Dithering". Dick Cheney put that word on the map. I believe the caution is fear of unrest spilling over into their respective countries. Even when they have change things go downhill fast. Wealth will be attacked. Starting with symbols. In Germany they went for the cars. Here they go to the homes of the wealthy and Wall Street. They are not builders. They are the takers. When the dust settles they will go back to their old ways. Wasted, mindless efforts. The old riots destroyed their own communities in this country and will in the Arab world. Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, and Libya. Perhaps the Saudi or even Turkey next.
