Janeane Garofalo: Racist Republicans Support Herman Cain
2011-09-29

Can't win for losing, can we? Go, Herman!
Has-been if she ever was comedienne Janeane Garofalo: "Herman Cain is probably well liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican party. Conservative movement and tea party movement, one in the same. People like Karl Rove liked to keep the racism very covert. And so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity say you can say 'Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.'"

#27  "The joke's already been done (Frank J.? I can't remember): "Tea partiers are so racist that they are willing to elect an African American to get President Obama out of the White House."

The real thing is, Americans want someone who is competent and Americans really do not care about color.

To prove it once, "historical", to prove it twice, sane.

#26  Mr. Green Bull, there's no way that waste of skin can prove she's not an idiot.

'Cuz she IS. >:-(

#25  Sounds like me, JQC, *xcept I am relevant. Heh?
Posted by: Rhodesiafever   2011-09-29 18:05

#24  Hey, Janeane, if you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, you'll have to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot.

#23  Garofalo is irrelevant. Just when this fact starts to dawn on her, she decides she has to make some asinine and stupid remark.

#22  Barry should take some comfort that he appears to still have the Sideshow Freak vote locked up.

#21  sorry Muck4doo. I'm not feeling the love for this bitter stoopid skank. In fact, I feel like I just got a contact STD from her picture

#20  Unfair to winehouse, who did actually have some talent. Jenny's claim to fame is more along somebody who is a bitter smartass and managed to dye her hair; sort of the great-grandmother of the emo movement.

#19  "Why are the republicans getting the stick?"

Because racism is a nearly impossible charge to refute. The Democrats realized that, and then realized it worked, and have continued to use it. Notice how the Democrats say "code words" and keep the racism covert, so they don't actually have to prove anything. They just insinuate and throw mud and feel superior and collect the votes as the black community gets poorer, and poorer.

#18  Did she really make it through that whole statement without using the F word?

#17  Maybe she is confusing him with the mutiny guy.

#16  Why are the republicans getting the stick?

Partly because Hollywood and the LSM have, for decades, protrayed Republicans that way. And the Republican leadershit (spelled correctly!) have simply let it pass unchallenged.

The product of which are creatures like this who feel comfortable crawling out of the dark, damp, spiderhole they usually hide in and make these kind of stupid statements with a straight face.

Why does anyone listen to Garofalo? She can't act. Never was funny. Has obvious mental and intellectual problems. And is gross and ugly (both outside and inside) to boot.

Betsy the cow has a better understanding of politics. And at least Betsy contributes to society.

#15  Someone needs to create a Garofalo bot. Any phrase you type in gets the word "racist" sprinkled throughout. It would completely replace the real Garofalo while being far less noisome.

#14  AAAAAIIIIIII! My eyes!

**reaches for eye bleach**

#13  Why are the republicans getting the stick?

Because it's the only stick they have to beat us with...

#12  "'Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.'"

Similarly, we Rethuglicans support Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman to show that we hate women, support Nicki Haley and Bobby Jindal to show that we hate immigrants, and support Mary Cheney to show that we hate gays.

On a side note, that pic of Janeane suggests that she's in the running for the Amy Winehouse award...

#11  Why are the republicans getting the stick?

Mainly because the Trunk leadership doesn't know how to or even want to fight. It's divisive you know. You can't get along in the Country Club if you're always getting back into other peoples faces to give as much as they pass out to you. The older generation made a very serious mistake ASSUMING it was self evident [Lincoln, KKK, etc] not grasping the indoctrination in schools by the Donk Party commissars.

#10  The joke's already been done (Frank J.? I can't remember): "Tea partiers are so racist that they are willing to elect an African American to get President Obama out of the White House."

#9  I didn't realize Cain was black until I read a PJ profile of him.

Impressive resume.

#8  I never got this attitude from democrats - lincoln was a republican, jim crow, segregation were all the work of democrats in the south. Byrd was a KKK grandmaster, and a demo.

Why are the republicans getting the stick?

#7   "Obama is probably well liked by some of the Democrats because it hides the racist elements of the Democratic party."

Which confirms the theory which many hold(including myself) of Obama as little more than a political tool, a front man, an empty suit.
Posted by: Besoeker   2011-09-29 11:57

#6  She does have a point, in a twisted way. Consider "Obama is probably well liked by some of the Democrats because it hides the racist elements of the Democratic party."

#5  My mind is playing... future look. Imagine if you will, that face in say 20 years.
Posted by: Besoeker   2011-09-29 11:35

#4  You know, black people on the end of real racism might get rather annoyed now you've worn out that particular insult.
Posted by: Bright Pebbles   2011-09-29 11:19

#3  Comedienne, don't you have to be funny to earn that title, or did she just ask Arizona State for the paperwork?

Perhaps his 30-40 year old male hipster and highly localized peers, anyone else would likely ask, who? I guess that makes her a xenophope.
Posted by: swksvolFF   2011-09-29 11:17

#2  Listen, you dumb bitch. You ain't funny, you ain't relevant, and you are ignorant and stupid.

Please go play in traffic and let the grown ups have the air.
