| #1 I still think it would be a good idea for Israel, more or less quietly, to become Greece's best buddy. While they couldn't bail Greece out, they could do many small friendship deals that would mitigate much of its misery. For example, preferable trade deals, and when there is a bumper crops of some food, stabilize the price by giving the extra. Little things like that can go a very long way in cultivating national friendship. |
