#1  A top Libyan rebel leader, Abdul Hakim Belhadj - founder of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, a subsidiary of Al Qaeda - demanded but was refused an apology from Britain's chief diplomat in Tripoli in a tense face-to-face meeting yesterday.

Thought it needed some clarification.
