| Turkey arrests terror suspect wanted by Germany |

| Turkish police have arrested a man born in Lebanon who has been wanted in Germany since 2008 for ties to a terrorist group. The Anatolia news agency says the man was arrested in Izmir and questioned by authorities, but was released by a court without charges because he had not committed a crime in Turkey. He is still being held and is awaiting possible extradition procedures to Germany. German authorities believe he is linked to an alleged plot to blow up American targets in Germany that was foiled in 2007. |
