| Qadaffy's wife, daughter, 2 sons flee to Algeria | |

| [USA Today] The Algerian government has confirmed that Libyan leader Moammar Qadaffy's ...a proud Arab institution for 42 years... wife and two of his sons have crossed the border into Algeria, Al Arabiya reports. "The wife of Moammar Qadaffy, Sofia, his daughter Ayesha, and sons Hannibal and Mohammad, accompanied by their children, entered Algeria ... through the Algeria-Libyan border," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement published by APS news agency.
Sofia is Qadaffy's second wife. Mohamamad is his eldest son and head of the Libyan Olympic Committe. Ayesha is a lawyer and former U.N. Goodwill Ambassador. | |

| #5 Don,t forget the extensive tunnel complex that Halliburton or some such built for him under Tripoli and beyond, JosephM. It was supposed to be deep enough to hide nuclear weapons development. |

| #3 TRIPOLI is the one-n-only impor City-Port in all of Libyuh, so anything that Uncle Muammar attempts to do will be directly or indirectly tied to the struggle to control or dominate same. As for his family, IIRC CNN AM YESTERDAY > the Rebs = TNC/RNC is demanding that they be extradited by the Algerian Govt. back to them to face trial, lest any failure by Algeria to do so be deemed an "ACT OF AGGRESSION/MALICE" BY ALGERIA TOWARDS THE LIBYAN PEOPLE??? |
