#9 Consider Obama’s remarks in June on the Today Show when he said his family is “not invested” in a second term. He told the interviewer “If I said, you know guys, I want to do something different, they’d be fine with that.” He's not been "invested" in the first term. Why should he expect his family to "invest" in a second. |

#3 If Mummar falls, it will give Obama a bump up on foreign policy. Also, unlike Jimmy (remember Ted Kennedy ran against Jimmy for the 1980 nomination), Obama does not seem to have any big name opponent. |
